This morning started similarly to a lot of mornings so far. Showers, etc. breakfast from cereal and milk we have in the trucks, then head off, leaving Erldunda Roadhouse.

This morning we just got up, got dressed, and left. Everything at the Mt Dare Hotel was pricey and we were all fine with having our packed cereal for breakfast.

Another early morning after camping last night, although this time the night was much colder than when we camped at St Ann Range. It was less windy though, so that's a compromise.

The day an emu lost a fight with a frog.

Frog found out this morning from a phone call that he is a grandpa! He got the call that his daughter, Melissa Gray, has given birth to a little girl, Bonnie Aurora Gray. Congratulations to the whole family!

Turns out the people who said the Simpson needed to be crossed west to east knew what they were talking about, or at least knew someone who knew what they were talking about. We will be going around on the Oodnadatta Track and eventually have another go at the Simpson from the other side and see what we can do then. 

Wind was the only problem while camping last night. A cold breeze has been blowing consistently since we left Bourke on day 2, and last night it was blowing the walls of Tony's tent back and forth as well as blowing the top blanket off of Frog who was on a camp stretcher sleeping under the stars.

This morning we made friends with a horse while we were preparing to leave the accommodations at Cameron Corner.

We had a bit of a sleep-in this morning as we had to wait for the fuel bowsers to be unlocked at 8am. After showering, and refuelling our bodies and vehicles, we took a photo out the front of the Outback Inn in Wanaaring then left on gravel roads much smoother than yesterday's.

We got up early today and after saying goodbye to the Andersons, left Suntop, and took the back way to Dubbo. Not far down the road was Frogley Rd and then Arthurville where we stopped so Frog could get his photo with signs for both.
